Deerhunter
Deerhunter performed a hypnotic set at the House of Vans in Brooklyn on August 18th for what was to be the second to last show before the venue sadly shuts its doors with a finale by Interpol on August 24th. The openers Circuit Des Yeux and Standing on the Corner were personally curated by Deerhunter and proved to create a beautiful entry leading up to the main show. The set list was perfect, the tone was slightly emotional and Deerhunter once again proved that they are one of very few current day must-see live acts. The bittersweet vibe was just a reminder that a void will need to be filled after House of Vans closes its doors.
