I’m an artist and analogue photographer with a background in public relations, styling and blogging. I started my creative journey in Los Angeles as an assistant and key stylist while also attending the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising where I studied Visual Communications. Some of the brands and entities I worked on wardrobe (for both editorial and commercial) included: The Euro Cup 2004 official, Moët & Chandon, Mattel, Hollywood Life Magazine and more. I then transitioned from wardrobe styling to public relations, launching my own boutique public relations firm in 2006. Over the years, I worked with brands including Armani Optical, Toni & Guy, W Hotels, Urban Outfitters, Esprit, LVMH owned Nowness. I also secured press for my clients in print and online magazines including the cover of Oprah, InStyle Mag, Daily Candy, C Magazine, GenLux and more. Some of the clients I worked with included Facehunter (Yvan Rodic) and Melanie Auld Designs.

I started my own blog, Swell City Guide in 2008. This was before Instagram made blogs almost oblivious (by 2011) and before everyone on earth could call themselves "influencers". I had notable contributors to my blog including Mark Hunter (The Cobra snake), Steve Aoki, Yvan Rodic and I covered and traveled to everything from 3 Michelin starred restaurants in Paris to fashion week after parties in NYC and London to some of the most luxurious hotels in the world. It was a fun 5 years but I eventually gave up blogging.

Photography has been something I've done all my life but I didn't do it "professionally" until 2019. I put the word professionally in quotes because I guess it's considered professional once you're paid for doing it. I shot content for Jakett New York, Jeffrey Campbell Shoes, Wolford, Repetto, Orla Kiely and a few others.
Candle making found me by accident. When the pandemic began, I was temporarily laid off from my ongoing photography work and I suddenly had a lot of time and a bit of savings. What began as a creative distraction quickly became a full experiment in craftsmanship and brand building. I produced one hundred test candles across four original scents and color ways. I gifted most of them to friends, and the feedback was immensely great. That small experiment led to my line being carried by a luxury boutique in West Hollywood.
Lately my deepest interest has been in content creation in fashion/art contexts on Tik Tok specifically. I'm aiming to eventually collaborate with legacy fashion brands that I have always admired. From the start of my life and career fashion and art have always been my main interests and I think this new path of content creation with my own personal point of view is going to take me down new and exciting paths that I haven't experienced yet.
